A big thanks from Arnita and her kids

After spending four months at Monte Cecilia House, Arnita Kukutai and her two children have moved into a home of their own.

She has written to thank Monte’s staff for their help. “It’s not often I get given a chance like this, and I’m glad I took it while it was there. “Knowing where I came from and that I lacked a lot of things, you still gave me and my two kids the chance to change what we came from to what we have. 

“You’ve helped me to achieve what was one of my biggest goals - my own place. “I will always and forever be grateful for what you have done for me and my kids. Arohanui.”
